Frozen pipes

With temperatures predicted to start dropping soon now, protect yourself from flooding caused by burst pipes.

Identify where your stop tap is (usually under your kitchen sink), make sure it's not stuck fast, and be ready to shut off your supply if you find your pipes freezing. Severn Trent Water show you how to do this in a video.

Burst pipes

Follow the advice to turn off your stop tap and if you are a Birmingham City Council Housing customer please phone 0800 073 3333 to request a repair.
